As Senior Vice President of Market Rate Property Management,
Sheila Byrne is responsible for overseeing and providing portfolio
management to achieve operational and financial success at over
5,300 units at 17 multifamily assets. Sheila's leadership spans a
portfolio of high-rise and select garden-style apartments in the
greater Chicago and Detroit markets totaling $686 million, student
housing in Oklahoma and over 210,000 square feet of commercial
space.
Ms. Byrne's approach focuses on maximizing financial returns for
owners through top-tier pricing, strategic positioning and
controlling of operational expenses. Ms. Byrne acts as The Habitat
Company's Revenue Management Director for the portfolio to drive
growth and profitability. With regular financial analysis of
individual assets and the overall portfolio, Ms. Byrne ensures
ownership goals are continuously met. She plays a critical role in
developing and implementing company-wide initiatives that poise
both our properties and portfolio for growth.
Since joining The Habitat Company in 1986, Ms. Byrne has managed
over seven Habitat-managed properties including Presidential
Towers, a 2,400 unit property in downtown Chicago.
Ms. Byrne has a Bachelors of Arts degree from St. Mary's University
in Minnesota and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois.
