Lisa provides leadership and oversight for Habitat's affordable
division. Under Lisa's leadership, innovation and best
practices are driven across the portfolio of nine properties
and 2,095 units. In addition, she develops supportive
services strategies for Habitat communities
nationwide.
Prior to joining Habitat, Lisa served as the executive director of
housing for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago and was executive
director of Lawson House YMCA, the largest supportive single-room
supportive housing facility in the Midwest. Lisa also
has served as an assistant to Mayor Richard M. Daley, where she
managed a range of education and infrastructure
initiatives.
Lisa has a B.A. in Public Policy and a M.S.W. in Nonprofit
Management, both from the University of Chicago, and is a HUD
Certified Occupancy Specialist. Lisa served as commissioner
of the Chicago Committee on Urban Opportunity from 2006-2009.
