As Vice President of Property Management for The Habitat
Company, Marla Jackson oversees the management of more than 1,100
condominium units in downtown Chicago. Marla supports client
associations by ensuring that their communities meet their
financial and operational goals year-over-year and preserve the
value of the overall property and each unit owner's home.
Ms. Jackson specializes in providing seamless transitions for new
accounts and continually enhancing the relationships and service
levels with existing condominium community clients. She is
instrumental in shaping training programs for community managers,
customized accounting procedures, automated preventive maintenance
program and open communication between condominium boards, owners
and management.
Prior to joining The Habitat Company in 2005, Ms. Jackson's
experience spanned numerous facets of property management including
asset management, leasing and construction management.
Ms. Jackson has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters degree
in Urban Planning - both form the University of Illinois at Urbana,
Champaign. She holds the Certified Manager of Community
Associations designation and is also a licensed Real Estate
Broker.
