Chris Speer

Chris Speer is an Asset Manager at The Habitat Company with nearly 15 years of real estate experience. He oversees the financial and operational performance of multifamily properties, driving strategies to maximize investor returns. Chris manages business plans, investor reporting, budgets, and capital programs; he identifies value-enhancement opportunities and supports acquisitions, dispositions, and financing efforts.

Before joining Habitat, Chris was an Asset Manager at Lakeshore Management, where he oversaw a large manufactured housing portfolio, enhanced asset performance, led analysis of major capital projects, and managed business plan execution. He began his career as an Associate at Sherman Residential, focusing on multifamily properties.

Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Iowa.
