Jon Altobelli

As Director of Investments at The Habitat Company, Jon Altobelli is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, analyzing, and closing investment opportunities that align with the company's standards.

Jon previously held the position of Regional Director of Acquisitions at LyvWell Communities, where his primary focus was on the acquisition of build-to-rent development sites and investment opportunities throughout the Southeast Region. This role involved a significant contribution to the development and execution of the firm's investment thesis.

Before joining The Habitat Company, Jon spent over six years in the institutional multi-family acquisition and development sector. During his previous tenures at CA Ventures and Marquette Companies, he significantly enhanced his market knowledge and expertise, contributing to the acquisition and development of approximately $500M in assets across numerous locations including Florida, Nashville, Atlanta, Raleigh-Durham, Kansas City, Columbus, Illinois, Michigan, Denver, Phoenix, Indianapolis, and Minneapolis.

Jon holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Gies College of Business.
