Lori Flaska

As Vice President of Human Resources for The Habitat Company, Lori Flaska's responsibilities include researching, developing and updating policies and procedures and supporting our organization’s core values with all team members. Lori collaborates with Habitat’s leadership group to revitalize training and to enhance the work environment and productivity. Lori also ensures compensation and benefits programs provide motivation, incentives and rewards to drive performance.

Lori’s roots are in human resources, and she brings over 20 years' experience in this field, including her work at Mizar Holding Company (parent company BERNINA of America), where she managed a human resources team that supported over 300 employees and comprised five companies in multiple states. Prior to Mizar Holding, Lori served as director of corporate human resources at Wickes Furniture. Lori has also managed human resources at Health Connections/Healthcare Solutions, a healthcare reimbursement organization and medical billing company.

Lori obtained a Bachelor of Science in retail management from Michigan State University. Lori is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Human Resources Association of Oakbrook.
