Marc Barell
Director of Investments
As the Director of Investments for The Habitat Company, Marc Barell sources deals and underwrites new residential acquisition opportunities in Habitat’s targeted markets. He also prepares investment packages for discussions with internal investment committees, outside capital partners, and debt sources.

Prior to joining The Habitat Company in 2021, Marc served as the Assistant Vice President of Investment Management at Draper and Kramer, where he was responsible for acquisition, new development, and redevelopment underwriting and analysis in target markets across the U.S. Additionally, Marc managed the annual operating and capital budget process and oversaw the preparation of property business plans and helped create sell/hold strategies for each asset.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Distinction from University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
